Move Beyond Functional
70% of people in addiction are currently “functional”.
These are moms and dads, students and neighbors, truck drivers, policeman, construction workers, doctors, nurses, cooks, pilots, retail sales persons and pharmacists.
For every individual in addiction there are multiple family members and friends whose lives are affected on a daily basis.
Get Control
Rooted in the truth that our relationship with Christ transforms us, Life Catalyst works for lasting life change through group and personal interaction, addiction education and relationship restoration.
Get Ongoing Help
Life Catalyst is a non-residential program that helps build relationships that catalyze life in living color.
From one on one through small groups to rebuilding broken families, Life Catalyst is just people, people wounded by drugs and alcohol, that found the courage to find the way back.
We are people willing to help you do the hard work. It’s not about how many times you fell down.
Will you let us help you get up again?

“Wow. Life Catalyst is an amazing, thoughtful and visionary development that compassionately responds to an obvious societal need, most evident in the world of patients and families struggling with addiction.”

Our Mission
Life Catalyst is a Christ centered program focused on helping individuals and their families whose lives are out of control because of drug and alcohol addiction.
Our Difference
While our region is blessed to have a number of quality Residential Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation facilities, none provide at their core the powerful truth of the transforming power of Jesus Christ.
Catalyst /’ka-tə-ləst/
[NOUN] An agent that provokes or speeds significant change or action.
How You Can Help

Dire Circumstances
38% of adults battled an illicit drug use disorder according to the National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH).
“Less than 8% of adults with Alcohol Use Disorder receive treatment” – National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism
The state of Pennsylvania is in the top 5 states in many categories of drug and alcohol, sale use and abuse and death. The problem is particularly imbedded in the Life Catalyst headquarters area of Northeastern PA.
Make A Real Change In Someone’s Life
In spite of the fact that this is the greatest social issue of our time there are few Christ centered options in Northeastern Pennsylvania (NEPA) to specifically address the core issue of individuals and their families enslaved by addiction.
